Cream cheek products on lips?

So I know some things are advertised as for lip and cheeks, such as Stila convertible colors... Does that mean that they're safe if they're eaten? (since let's be real, we all eat/lick off our lip products) I just feel a bit weary licking off something that's used on the cheeks, but I suppose if they say it's safe, it should be okay, right? I'm just paranoid.

I've also heard of people using other cream blushes as lip colors that aren't advertised as dual-purpose. is this safe?

if it says its lip safe, they mean its just as safe as a lipstick.

It's meant to be used both ways so it's up to Stila to make sure they are safe. Can't be advertised that way if it's not lip safe.
