Okay, so I did my makeup and hair as a trial run for the wedding I'm going to next weekend. Here are some not-so-good webcam pics:

So it took me three hours to do this to my hair, with LOTS of trial and error. I ended up using curling mousse, curling spray, and lots of hairspray (my hair does NOT hold curl well), along with hot rollers and a small barrel curling iron for touch ups.
I put a small black clip on the right side to hold the hair down, and pulled the ringlets over it. Then I put a clip with a black rose on it on the left side. Super cute, I think. My man isn't so sure--LOL. He's not used to me with curly hair (first time I've curled it in about 5 years, I think).
Anyhow, my makeup isn't over visible, but I did a variation on a tutorial on here (can't remember which one).
I'll just list what I used on my eyes:
foundation (Mousse)
powder (mineral powder)
Nyx gold colour e/s
Brick by Sally Girl
deep purple e/s (don't know the brand)
black shimmery e/s
white shimmer e/s
black liquid liner
black pencil liner
So I always put foundation and powder on my eyes. Then I used the gold eyeshadow from my tear duct halfway across my lid. The Brick was used from halfway to almost the corner. In the corner and crease I used the deep purple shadow. Then I blended (I blend with my finger).
Bottom lashes, I followed the eyeshadows and lined with them using a small sponge applicator. Then I lined upper and lower waterlines with black eyepencil, and go over that with a bit of black shimmery shadow on the small sponge applicator.
On my upper lash line I used black liquid liner, doing my signature "wing" (extending out from the corner of the eye). I connect the wing to the purple on my lower lashline with some black shimmery shadow.
I swept some white shimmery shadow to highlight my brow bone, and down into my tear duct.
Mascara on the top and bottom lashes, and that's it.
