Damaged eyeshadow

My Black Tied eyeshadow broke in my eye palette, so now 14 eyeshadows are covered in black.

Can they be saved? I'm not sure what I can do to clean them up. Any suggestions?

Oy.. I had that happen with Black Tied also.. what a holy mess. I took everything out of the palette, use a vaccuum with a dust attachment to get the residue out. Washing it seemed to be a bad idea because I wasn't sure if all the water would come out. Then I just wiped it with a paper towel moistened with fantastic. I used a fluffy brush to gently swipe the black off the other eyeshadows. it was a slow process, but I managed to clean them with minimal product loss of the other shadows.

if the black tied is embedded in the other colors, carefully take a spatula or butterknife and scrape the top layer off until all the black is gone. blow the scrapings off instead of wiping them off (that could embed the black again).
