Devil Wears Beauty Marked or Risky Business

I always thought Beauty Marked was a trick from the Devil. So, many people recommended me to wear a red base (such as Flammable) to make it shows in a decent way.

Point is: I don't have any red base. After a couple of minutes, an idea: creamy, reddish... Yes! No! Oh, no... Ok, why not? It can't be so harmful... So, my red/purple base is lipstick on the lids

After the good experience, I also decided to add some dark to my lips using blacktrack f/l mixed with the lipstick.

It worked! The results can be seen below.

It shocks me, but I think I'm looking a bit like Jessica Alba in those pics

I have no idea how lipstick will ultimately work on the lids, but if it works for you...

I really like the eyes! I think you should try a softer lip, though. The lips as they are above look a touch gloppy and harsh. Maybe a bit of soft blush on the apple of the cheek for a hint more colour, too?

I do really like the eyes!

Agreed on the cheeks. Though, I admit sometimes I'm a chicken when it comes to enhance my apples. My cheeks are too big, I end up looking clownish in the bad way

I've tried light lips before going this dark. It wasn't working at all.

hey! really pretty and dramatic look! I could soo never pull this off so how was the lasting power of lipstick as a base? Did it get all in the crease? However i see you've used a base so I'm sure without a base it would get sooo messy... how long did it stay???

Hmm...I would definitely be careful with using lipstick in the eye area. Especially red ones. Lipsticks are obviously not meant for the eye area, and red pigments are often very, very bad for your eyes (hence why there are so few red eyeshadows out there)
