Dolce Vita the lipstick is not red at all, it's pale mauve brown. And the gloss has a very similar shade too.

Wow, I don't get either "pale mauve brown" or "red" out of Dolce Vita. On me, it's a deep rose with no muddiness. I like both the gloss and the lipstick, though I prefer the lipstick formula that's in the palettes better to the one in the tube.

I suppose if someone was used to wearing pinks or peaches, this could feel red, but it's really more rose IMO.

I've never seen a "red" Dolce Vita - it's always been a rosey shade as far as I know. I have both the lipstick and the lipgloss - both a very soft rose.

For me, Dolce Vita blush absolutely not red but rosey brown,
the truly red blush is Exhibit A
