E/S Formulas and Brushes

Are certain brushes better suited for the different e/s formulas? The one I seem to be having the most trouble with are the frosts.

I think it depends on what you're using the frost for.

As a lid color, I prefer 252 or Stila #5 brush.
In the crease, I swirl 224 brush in the pan, tap, and then using circular motions, move inward following the crease.
For the outer lid/corner, I prefer the 239.
And for highlight, either Stila #5 or MAC 213.

What kind of trouble are you having with them?

It's not picking up enough e/s. I don't have the #252, I will see if I can ge that and maybe that will help. I am not sure if I was speaking with someone or I read it on here but they use that brush as well.

The best brushes I've found for picking up lots of eyeshadows are the white haired ones. 239, 272 (which is the angled version of the 239), 222 all of these work great. I used to have a lot of issues picking up shadows but once I bought my 272 that problem was pretty much gone
