E/s help

Hi

Can anyone help me? I want to buy lots and lots of mac eyeshadows but I really don't know where to start. I bought three today (shroom, paradisco and Steamy).

I have pale skin (I am an NW20) and blue eyes, which I'd like to make a feature of (If that makes sense). I have heard that as my eyes are blue I should be looking for colours at the opposite end of the colour wheel (Orange, peach, corals etc) but I have no idea where to start.

Paradisco is nice, but I want more!! Can anyone help with any recommendations? I want to get some day looks and evening looks and want to buy lots and lots!!

Perhaps if you do a search on PrettyKitty's FOTD's, you will get a good idea of what colors will work for you. She is fair skinned and always has beautiful combos.

I'm also quite pale with blue eyes and can only second what people say about colours opposite your own eye colour - golds, peaches, etc just make blue eyes pop, though I also love to use blues and greens, colours are so much fun. I also love to use light frosty pinks, I feel they give a certain sparkle to blue eyes ...

My favourites in this respect are: Pink Freeze, Expensive Pink, All That Glitters, Woodwinked, Amber Lights and Naked Lunch, Penny and Mangomix shadesticks, Tan and Melon pigment (I also love Deckchair which came out with D'Bohemia, but maybe this will not be available any more), and Brassy and Richground fluidlines. You might also want to throw in something golden like Corn shadestick and Gorgeous Gold eyeshadow. Gleam also looks lovely, but this is the only Lustre I can't make work for me personally because it's never even and doesn't stay put (obviously I'm doing something wrong *lol*).

For evening looks I like to wear Bronze, Twinks or Satin Taupe for a smoky eye because I feel that some black or matte dark brown shadow is too harsh against my pale skin. Or something purple like Trax ...

As far as blues or greens go, I love Zonk Bleu, Aquadisiac, Sprout, Brill and Lucky Green from Belle Azure.

I hope this has helped you a little bit and that you'll get lots and lots of further recommendations!

Thanks for the recommendations!! I am going to check some of the colours out
