I would go with a cool looking black button down and black pants with some trendy looking jewelry. Maybe the jewelry should be natural stones or something so it's colorful but tasteful.

Yeah, a black button down shirt. You can get some really cool ones, not just a standard classic cut (although there is nothing wrong with those). My favorite button down shirt has bell sleeves.
