Eyeshadow and Blush

Hi,

Some people have posted that they have used MSFs and blushers as eyeshadows. I was wondering whether it could be done the other way around, as in using eyeshadows as blushers. Has anyone tried it?

Thanks!

definately! alot of MAC products are multipurpose. just make sure you read any info that comes in the box to see if it is safe for different areas of the face.

Sure! Expensive Pink makes a fantastic warm glowing blush, and Shroom makes a sassy temple highlighter for PPP gals.

General rule of thumb is that eye products are fine to use on the cheeks, but cheek products are rarely suitable for the eyes.

I use lightscapade as both a highlighter on the cheek and brow bone. expensive pink and in living pink work amazingly as a blush. most of my msfs ive used as eyeshadow at one point or another

I've used Slip Pink e/s as a cheekbone highlight and Rio de Rosa e/s as a blush. Swish e/s makes an interesting cheek highlight, too! My favorite way to use Little Madame (a mineralized e/s from Rococo 04) is not as a shadow but as a blush. I plan to do the same with Lovestone mineralized e/s from Flashtronic!

You know....I am an NW 20 and have actually tried that, as well as Paradisco. They look beautiful as blushes if applied right.

I also love Paradisco as a blush. I've used Honeylust to dust over some blushes to add a golden sparkle. Also swish.

I totally believe that. Now this makes me want to get a seperate quad just for eye shadows to us as blushes. I bet Star Violet would be cute. In another thread someone said she used Amber Lights. So that's three, I just need a fourth so I can have an excuse to buy this. I bet Motif would make a really pretty cheek bone highlighter, and Club could make an awesome contour color...hmmm

MAC Paints help lipcolors to last alot longer, but I know that if I do not touch up enough it does get a little cakey and weird sometimes.
