Eyeshadow Finish Question??

Hi I'm sorry I did a search for this but couldn't find anything so I'm sorry if it is out there!

What is the difference between all the MAC e/s finishes matte,satin,veluxe pearl, etc. I don't know all of them but I was curious to what is the difference in all of the diff. finishes and what diff. purposes does each finish serve? Thanks In advance all!

If you go on the MAC site, to the page where it shows all the regular presse dpowder eyeshadows, there's a link that says View Finish Descriptions (right above that little pull-down menu under the main product description),

OK Actually I viewed this once before and I remember it being quite helpful but why when I try to view these links now it says error page not found. bad url? I dont understand if someone knows if this thread has been moved to a new link please post it because that link was VERY helpful as far as textures finishes etc. thanks

Just remove the 'forum' part of the link.

When the forums were adjusted to become the specktra.net default, all the links went out of whack and they haven't been parsed again.

ahhh! no wonder i get a lot of 404 errors! thanks for clarifying that up. now i know what to do if i get that error.
