Fake Smashbox on Ebay

I was looking for Smashbox on Ebay and I was suprised there are fakes of Smashbox too. Here's a pick of UK sellers selling apparent fakes:

Hi All,

Yes, I did sell these smashbox eyeliners but I purchased these in good faith from the seller kalawatrd

who assured me that these items are 100% genuine.

I stopped selling these as i was unsure (having only been selling cosmetics for less than a year) reading through forums etc as to their authenticity and am still reserving judgement at this time as I am unable to verify by Smashbox who tell me that as i am not a registered outlet they cannot advise!

I have gone back again to kalawatrd

for a letter of auhenticity and will post her response on here once received.

this is just to say hi to everyone and to let everyone no what experience i had with an ebayer seller who sold me both fake smashbox and mac items!

her ebay id is {surprise surprise} kalenza!

now i was looking on the net a few weeks ago to learn how to spot fake mac items and i came across this site, also a list of sellers that sell fake mac smashbox etc!

i see kalenza

name on it, but completly forgot untill i bought a mix of 'branded' make up items from her!
the start price was £14.99 which is fairly high for 10 items, but the items that claimed to be listed seemd to be worth it, so i bid and won, 3 days later it arrived, and when i took the items out 5 were samples, then there was a mac eyebrow pencil in shade 'flatter' then there was a smashbox double ended eyeliner! one end white and one end black!

no even i no that smashbox dont sell these type of eyeliner, so i did a bit of reasearch, {so i could back up my facts} and had it confirmed that nether mac or smashbox do these itrem or shades!

then when i was doing the reasearch i came across this site again, and low and behold, there she was as a fake items seller!

so i emailed her to tell her that i new the items were fake, also i posted her the link for this site listing her as a fake seller!

anyway the reply i got was astonashing! she tried to blame it on me! saying 'well you are the one selling fake smashbox' then tried to say that she got the items from a reputable whole saler! and replied that i must just not like the items, that is why i am saying it, and that she had proof the mac was real {no mention of the smashbox} then she went on to say that she was gonig to put my name on this list, and report me to ebay for harrasment {all i did was ask for arefund}

she also had the cheek to bid and win one of my items, and even told me it was so she could cause trouble for me! so i made sure i had a witness when i packed the items, and took pictures of every item i sent to her, just so i would have the proof in cause she tried anything!

SHE also stated that this site was wrong and full of people who are just out to cause trouble, i havent seen any thing of this on this site, i think it is just our grapes that she got caught out!

So thanks to you and your site, i was able to spot the fakes, and not risk my looks and health by putting her crap on my face!

so well done! i am a complete new user to here, and you have already helped me so much!

p.s my ebay id is jenfoyer, so if you see this on a list please ignore it as it will be the real fake seller trying to cause trouble!

all the items i won from her have gone in the bin where belong! lets get the fake sellers of the streets {and ebay} so we can all enjoy the fab products we all love!

seriously please do beware of this kalenza, since i have reported her to ebay and on here she has proceeded to try and ruin my feedback and has hacked into my ebay account!
she says she is being thanked on here, but all you speka users no if this was the case she would have had her messages on sreen, also as for saying i sell bulk fakes what a load of nonsense, i normally sell max fator loreal and lower branded items like that, i only ever sold one lot of smashbox as a bulk {8 items} within a bundle of urban decay smashbox and benefit!

anyway her rep speaks for itself! why did she never produce her authenticity letter? she was named and shamed by many users of spektra and i am sorry that i brought her here, as it was me who told her she was on here, when i said i found her name on a fake sellers list and told her where as she didnt believe me, so anyway sorry everyone for bringingthat person onto your nice calm site!

i still say get the fake sellers out!

If you are buying cosmetics of a well known Western brand from a vendor in China, the probability they will be genuine is practically zero. Don't risk it or it will come back to bite you!

Please remember that if you buy anything for the purpose of selling then you are a trader for legal purposes and not a private individual. That means that you are legally liable for any problems caused by the products (you have no idea what ingredients counterfeits contain) and can be arrested and fined or jailed as part of a Trading Standards operation.

Even if you are only selling genuine items you should as a trader still have public liability insurance.

I agree with you totally!This seller Kalawtrd,sells fakes as I myself bought a FAKE Smashbox pencil,which my seller told me was bought off her

Now this seller Kalawtrd amd Knightbidding,are no longer trading on ebayUK ...

,started selling again all fake Lancome,MAC &Smashbox!,the thing is that i recall Knightbidding ,very well and mum_ zhang2008,listings,pictures are IDENTICAL to knightbidding!

personally i think you must be very,naive to think that these products for that sort of price are genuine!!
All cheap,nasty knock offs ,which have dubious ingredients

This is total madness this seller :mum_zhang2008,has just listed this horrid looking Clinique eyeliner!!I have seen lots of sellers from ebay UK,bidding on her auctions,so that means that in a week or two we will be flooded with this *carp*none of her items are genuine!The fake MAC eyeliners and pencils most probably contain lead and other poisons.BTW i did leave negative for the fake Smashbox eyeliner

Ah i just thought I add this nasty fake too...this was the one that I actually purchased

I did leave neg for seller and binned the fake!And put it down to experience ...
