Finding a MAC shade

Hey gals, I'm really hoping you can help me out. I live 9 hours away from the closest MAC counter(i.e. too far away), but I keep hearing raves about MAC foundation and really want to try it. I'm currently using revlon colorstay in "buff" which really matches my skintone... but what would that make me in MAC? Any input would be greatly appreciated

i agree u shud be nc 20 most probably.but for a better match check ur veins on the wrist if they r green u r nc if they r blue u r nw

So I tried an NC20 but found it was a little too dark and yellowish. I hear Select SPF15 tends to run a little dark, though, so maybe I'd have better luck with another foundation?
