First ever FOTD: Pretty in pink!

I figured it was time I stopped being shy and posted my first FOTD.

I am really new to MAC and make-up in general, so constructive criticism is more than welcome! That said, I do know my brows are untidy. I need to get my tweezers out!


I apologise for the picture quality, btw. My camera joined the great electronic scrapheap in the sky, and therefore I am relegated to using our old one.

I wanted something colourful but understated for work last night, and so came up with this.

Face:
-Lily Lolo mineral foundation, Warm Peach
-Lily Lolo mineral finishing powder, Shine Away
-Smashbox O-Glow for my cheeks

Eyes:
-good 'ole Smashbox primer as a base
-Shroom e/s
-Passionate e/s
-Lily Lolo Cherry Pie e/s
-Stila multi-effect mascara
-Body Shop brow gel
-Benefit Moonbeam (highlighter)
-Lily Lolo Star Dust (highlighter)

Lips:
-DuWop Lip Venom

I've worn make-up before, of course, but never really tried anything more than one (or two, if I was daring!) shades of chemist-brand eye shadow.

MAC is my new love! I cannot believe the colour pay-off!

You have gorgeous eyes, I think maybe doing up ur brows and adding an eyeliner on top lids would complete this look o and maybe a little lip color would just brighten up your face........

I really need to get something to do my brows with. Right now, I use a clear gel to neaten them but they need more work and definition. I'll have to look into buying a brow set or something.

For some reason, I was totally against lipstick that day! Usually I love the stuff. I need more, though, since I only have a few shades in my arsenal, most of which are nudes or reds.
