So the new england winter has been drying my skin pretty badly for the last few weeks, and I've been experimenting with liquid foundations...
I've tried MUFE HD (settled into lines/creases and dried out my skin) Lorac Natural Performance (I liked the finish on this the best, but it didn't last and looked blotchy/patchy by the end of the day) Diorskin Nude (hydrating, felt lovely going on, but didn't last through the day and I needed more coverage).
I thought I had settled on Estee Lauder's Doublewear in Linen, but the full-size version seems to be different from the sample I tried..runnier, harder to blend? And then it ended up looking cakey.
I always use moisturizer and primer (primetime) before foundation application, and sometimes use MAC's studio sculpt concealer. But all of these foundations seem to be drying me out regardless, and my face looks patchy on my cheeks (dry) and the foundation has disappeared from my nose (oily).
Haha, sorry for the long post, but I guess I'm looking for recommendations for a medium to full coverage, long-wear hydrating foundation, or a better primer? Thanks!
