Hi everyone! I'm new here ... been reading a number of the other threads and have found this site very helpful. I am normally a MAC gal .. been using it for nearly 10yrs. Although I love it, obviously to be using it solely for so long, I am not not 100% happy with my foundation. 
And as the months go by I get increasingly more unhappy. I am very fair. Combo skin ... oily tzone. I was (and at rare times) acneic .. allthough that is pretty much under control. Due to having past problems I have some post inflammatory dark spots from where past acne was .. and just due to being a redhead I'm naturally just blotchy. Soooo .. I have some covering up to do. Fair skin, Oily tzone, need med/full coverage. I have found the best so far has been MAC studio fix fluid foundation with prolongwear concealer and the prep and primer powder finisher. This looks ok .. for 3 hours tops. And I do also use primer. The regular primer and the refined zone primer. My cheeks always look great. After 3 hrs my pores on nose and forehead appear bigger .. and what I really hate is the around my nose, above lip, and chin .. my makeup is completely noticeable (it's in every crevice (sp?), it looks like it's just all sitting on top of my skin. Surely there must be something better .. right? My skincare is great in my opinion. I use nothing with oil, yadda yadda yadda. I am an esthetician so I know what to use and what not to use. I am open to all suggestions though .. skincare or makeup changes. What works for you all.
