Yeah, I noticed some bloggers did with/ without pictures, which are a pretty good way of showing the chiseled effect it gives. Seen on its own, it might look like nothing, but when compared to the same makeup without it, it becomes very obvious. I also liked Ingenue's description of it:

shahadakarim.blogspot.ca/2012/10/fotd-notorious.html

I've been using a Mac 168 brush to apply it, which seems to work very well. It allows me to contour, but the head is soft enough so that the colour diffuses nicely. And I always start at the outside of my face, so that the colour is more concentrated near my hairline, fainter on my cheeks.
This is not really related to T's review on Notorious but just something general. I have had so many people telling me the "blush is not seen on you" in my photos. I am darker skinned, so I would need to do a total clown-face/splotchy application - literallly just take the blush on the brush and dab it on and stick it in one place - so people can see it they way they want! I always add swatches and try to show colors as true to what the product looks like in natural lighting, but somehow that just doesn't seem to be enough. I would agree I use a very light hand with my blushes, though, so that could be one thing. For some reason, though, I get the feeling most people prefer seeing products like it is on the swatch but on my face :| Maybe T has similar issues with people not being "able to see" products on her face :p :p :D

I would give her that for blush, maybe, but a contour product is not meant to be seen. Only its effect is. She was wearing the product incorrectly. It's especially obvious considering other people with much lighter skin tones didn't have sooty cheeks like T. It was applied so poorly I thought it was a prank. She knew better.

Hehee..it does look sooty :p :D Not meaning to be rude about her and I think she does an awesome job with her blog, but I have to agree with you on that :D With/without photos would have been a better idea!

There'a new nail polish for next year called Taboo:
Quote: ...The punk bit was repurposed on nails that were painted a shimmering shade of dark blue/violet with Chanel Le Vernis in Taboo, which will make its debut next year.

I was surprised to find Notorious at my Neiman Marcus today. I had been looking for it and found it to be sold out everywhere. I took a chance and asked the SA when I picked up Mirifique and she said they still had some left. I'm excited to try this!

I posted on one of the ther Chanel threads that Notorious is still available in the US at NM in Boston (Copley) if anyone is trying to find it.

I called the Boston store and they are sold out of Notorious unfortunately. I was lucky to locate the last one at another store though. :)

Just gotta say that I bought the Chanel loose powder in Dore last week and I love it! First of all, it's huge and the packaging is just chic and gorgeous. Second, I've used it twice with my Perfection Lumiere and it looks amazing. I've used MUFE HD powder and the Laura Mercier powder with PA foundation, but I think it looks best with the Chanel loose powder. Really loving this powder right now and I will try it with other foundations to see what it's like. Oh and it's such a beautiful sight to have my Chanel foundation, loose powder and Sunkissed highlighter all next to each other.
