Gift ideas for sommelier...?

My friend and I frequent a restaurant very often, and the sommelier has been extremely friendly and helpful, getting to know us and recommending wines for us. We wanted to get him a gift (even though we do not know him personally, per se).

Any suggestions?

perhaps you could get him a gift voucher for a department store? that way there would be lots of things for him to spend the voucher on. or if he is really into wine then maybe you could buy him a nice bottle as a thank you?
