Glissade MSF

I have no idea what to do with this product. I bought it, admittedly, on a whim, and when I brush it onto my NC25-30 skin, all that shows up is glitter.

Would anyone have some advice that might save my Glissade? I'm giving it one last chance before I decide for sure to let it go, hopefully to someone who can make better use of this, besides as a filler in a drawer, LOL.

I've used the travel-size blush brush from The Body Shop, a blush/powder brush similar to the 129 (I think), and the 187, borrowed from an MA friend. I've also tried swatching it with my finger and with the travel-size eye and slanted brushes from TBS. I still only see glitter, just in different concentrations.

hrm. I generally only use the skunk brush to apply mine, and with the exception of naked you, manage to usually not look like a glitter bomb...

but if you're using a skunk brush...I dunno.

ruca_or_hina, is it a really pale colour on you or something?

missbombchelle, how similar is the 169 to the 168? I don't think I can get hold of the former, but my MA friend does have a 168 I could borrow to try out.

ExquisiteImages, I don't get any pigmentation/colour with this MSF no matter how much pressure and/or layering I use (or don't use); just glitter. I did read from somewhere that it makes a good blush for people with similar colouring to mine, so I have no idea why it doesn't show on me when it does on you and missbombchelle. I've been outdoors a lot recently, so I've probably gotten more tanned - which could explain this - but it's never shown up before either, so I don't know.

I wish I could make this thing work for me too, yummy411! It looks so nice in the pot and on people who've managed to use it and... Sigh. I'm going to try the suggestions in this thread and if it still doesn't work, it's up for grabs, since our local MACs don't do returns, bar allergic reactions. (I wonder if I could claim allergy on OTT glitter "reaction"? LOL!)

Have you tried applying the msf with the 187 brush sprayed with fix plus? It goes on a lot more intensely with a damp brush and it will bring out the shine and shimmer instead of the glitter. Give it a shot and let me know how it goes! I'm in love with this msf!!
