Graduation makeup colors?

Graduation is coming up! We will be graduating in red caps and gowns, and I need some makeup advice. I have light skin, blonde hair and green eyes. Well, they actually change color for green to grey to blue depending on what I wear. What eyeshadow colors would look the best for this event? I was thinking of doing a smokey eye, but maybe something different and/or more interesting?

I'd go with a medium to dark brown smokey. neutral cheeks, neutral lips. sounds boring but red is a hard color to coordinate makeup with

browns for sure.
colours like bronze, woodwinked, romp or even amber lights would look nice.

i agree with the classic

i have similiar coloring as you and had a white cap/gown.. only i was so ready to graduate that i didnt even really wanna go to the cermony.
i ended up wearing a bright coral lipstick, it was clinque but i forget the name right now.. and lighter eyes with heavy mascara. at the time i just wanted something fast but now am so grateful i stuck with something simple.
