So I went to my stylist today to get my brows waxed and trim up my bangs a little bit...she cut them way too short! It looks like I have a whole head of bangs, when they are supposed to be sidebangs. Any tips on how to get them to sit flat to the side? I tried my chi but it made them puff out and they look whispy. Im gonna cry and am sooo angry

I had that problem a while ago... I just pinned them over with really cute clips until they started going in the direction and grew out a little longer... so I basically had no bangs for about a month until I "trained" them.

Perhaps try and blowdry them to the side using a round bristle brush, and set with a good hairspray such as Sebastian Shaper Plus. I also put a bit of volumizing spray on my bangs before blowdrying them, cuz my hair's pretty fine. Don't worry you'll figure something out! And before u know it they'll have grown out!

yeah i would curl my hair under with my flat iron and then pin it to the side for about an hour before i went out and let it loose and that worked pretty well. BECAUSE MY "side banbgs" were MEGA SHORT.... like above eyebrow lenght and I have curly hair... so even shorter until I straightened.

If they are too short to pin to the side just straighten them with a straightener or just blow dry them straight. It'll take about 3-5 weeks for them to grow longer. Until then just style them straight.

If they are long enough do a pomp. That's what I do when my bangs reach eyebrow length and I don't have time to trim them. The way I do it is I comb my bangs backwards, twist them 180 degrees, push them forward a bit to get the pomp, and pin down with bobby pins. You can use some pomade before you twist into a pomp so that nothing sticks up/out.

this happend to me too many times. and most of the times i guess it was because i tried to do it myself lol. but the best thing is to just let it grow out. it grows on you though, after a few days it's okay. but if not...try wax mouse gel all those products they'll help them stay and blow dry it. sometimes straightening it makes it look kinda weird. so blow dry it, it's a little less harsh.
