I think the pale gloss is going to be pretty.That gloss shade!!!me needs!! Well the whole collection except for the 03 bronzer (same shade promoted again???) and the pale gloss!!

:haha: i think it will be too shars :eyelove:!! The only reason I excluded that is because I don't like layering my lip products!! I either go for gloss or lipstick but not gloss over lipstick!' And also never reach for sheer glosses!!

Am I the only one who keeps "there is nothing I need, just stuff I want" as a mantra so that when this collection hits the shelves I don't buy it all?

Sorry, I tried that but it doesn't work so I just gave up. Skippers remorse is one of the worst feelings that drives you to Evil-bay.

LOL. I do rather have skippers remorse than buyers remorse. The good thing is that I really detest gold packaging. And how lovely the lipstick is, and how glad I am that for once it isn't a fuchsia, I can't handle the snowflakes. Knowing myself I could only use it in winter time. I do know these are all poor excuses but I just can't justify buying it all. Although I really, really want to.

Yes and no if I did buy only stuff I need I wouldn't buy makeup for the rest of my life. but I know I will used the Lipstick, the meteorite and the eyeshadow palette. the same cannot be said for the bronzer, and lipgloss I rarely used them so I know if i buy them only because they are pretty it will be a waste of money.

I don't have a collection in cosmetics. The only collection I have that is just for the sake of being pretty is my snowglobe collection. The snowballz will just fit perfectly.
In cosmetics I hardly have any doubles. I do move around a lot so having useless collections is just not practical. If I almost run out of something I will buy something similar. Or is has to be something really amazing and outstanding. I am willing to make exceptions if things are really amazing.
I just love to drool over anything and I would love to buy everything but I won't use it all. So I decided I will only buy the best and use only the things I love. It's my excuse to splurge on things because I know I am a high end lover, I'm a sucker for packaging. But I only have one face and I don't want to be wastefull. This mindset just keeps me grounded, makes sure I finish my products and keeps my wallet reasonably happy. That being said, this just prevents me from buying it all and not from wanting it all.

I'm not really a collector myself, not enough space to justify buying stuff to just look pretty but i'm a big spender LOL. Guerlain is really THE Makeup brand that make me a makeup addict and for the longest time i had everything at 50% off because my friend had a friend who was working for Guerlain so I just email her , tell her what I wanted and pay up (OMG i missed those days) anywho I only buy a couple item from the holiday collection since forever .... I usually skip spring and summer, i'm not a pastel fan and sheer lipsticks but Guerlain Holiday collection are always amazing! and this year is no different.I don't have a collection in cosmetics. Yes, their holiday collections have been amazing. I don't know if it's just me and my weird sense for arrangement but i would have loved the meteorites more if the packaging was in the standard metal tin with this gorgeous snowflake deco on top. Don't get me wrong, if I look at it as a single product it is the most beautiful packaging I can imagine but for the sake of the collection I'd liked the metal tin better. It will stand out, but for me not in a good way. But still I can't wait to get it and the pressed meteorites powder too !

I'm totally sold on this collection because of the packaging. I'm trying to limit myself to 3 Christmas collections this year. I'm a sucker for packaging and never end up using up any of the holiday products I buy.
