So I went to Nordies today & stopped by the Guerlain counter. The SA was the manager of that Guerlain dept. even though she knew nothing about the Holiday collection other than the fact that she had catalog pictures. I explained to her that I have already seen pics etc. about it. Then she went in for the pushy hard sell. I said that I wouldn't mind ordering through her especially if any of the items are hard to get but I would really love to use ebates....to which she replied, oh, you will still get your points

I was like no no no, ebates...blah, blah, blah I have to explain it to her. She then says, well you can do the online ordering thing but then pretty soon we'll have to close stores & what will happen to the beauty sales associates

Then tried to pressure me to do a pre-order right away. Way to try to beat me down. It turned me off so much. Then she keeps coughing into her hands & tries to shake mine after doing that

She wanted my phone number. email, & wanted to text me....ummm no no no, you are not getting any of my info. Then she started pushing the expensive skin care on me & would not stop talking. I finally just said, I have a husband waiting on me I have to go...............roadrunner speed outta that dept.

GOOD HEAVENS! I am sorry you had to experience that. I really really dislike the super pushy hard sell SAs. Definitely a turn off. Like, you're not scaring me... I have my wonderful ladies at specktra who make sure i'm up to date on release and locations to find what I need! I can't believe she tried to make you feel bad about ordering online.

Completely shameless.

Last week I asked her if they will be getting the infiniment powder since Few retailers already seem to have it (big mistake)!! She was like Macy's is a different retailer and their Chanel is different from nordstroms! They probably won't get it until a few months down the lane!! I was like :shock: ummmm thank you for enlightening me ... I will check back in a few months :haha: !! All she had to tell was that she has no clue lol!! I would have been happier with that!! (Eta: probably not !! Then I would have ranted about how she knew nothing LOL :haha: )

There is a new girl at the local Nordstrom Chanel counter. Last week I asked her if they will be getting the infiniment powder since Few retailers already seem to have it (big mistake)!! She was like Macy's is a different retailer and their Chanel is different from nordstroms! They probably won't get it until a few months down the lane!! I was like

I just looked it up, whilst pretty, I don't l know if I like it enough, considering I just bought Geraldine the other day and it seems somewhat similar/in the same colour family. If they were going to repackage a permanent shade, I wish it had been 71 Girly instead!
