You know what's absolutely ridiculous of me? When I got my 00 balls back then, my sister had brought them back from France with her and some of the balls got crushed because they jostled around in her luggage. We're talking about like a 1/3 of the balls! I ended up putting the loose powder in a different container and using it all up, but it's always bothered me that I didn't get a full and perfect container to add to my collection. I still have quite a few balls left, but I think my ratio of matte to pearlescent balls are off because the ones that got crushed were a lot of the pearly ones.

So...I'm considering buying another one and just gifting the one I have now to my younger sister. Please, someone talk some sense into me! Just typing this out, I can hear how crazy I sound!

And who among us makeup addicts would use them daily anyway when we have so much product in our personal stashes? When I find myself tempted to backup an item I always tell myself that something new and equally amazing, if not better will come along. I know you would "gift" the old ones to your sister but does she want them? Has she expressed any interest in them or is she a convenient hand-off so you can justify another canister of white balls? What if the unspeakable happens and your new white balls arrive as a crushed powdery mess---worse than the first ones? Sugarberry, "love the balls you're with," and wait patiently for Guerlain to release yet another amazing canister of limited edition balls next year.

I agree though. No sense in passing them on if they're not gonna be appreciated. I'm sure we can all find things equally as dazzling to spend money on from time to time.

Spoken like a true friend! You are right, though! I'll never use up a canister in my life, and I doubt mine is different from anyone else's balls, even if I did get a few crushed ones. A huge SIGH!! LOL!

Well, I guess I could pick up the Aquarella ones that released a few months ago but never made it here. LOL! Really, I need to stop looking at these. I usually only pick up the holiday versions because they're exceptionally pretty!

Is the pressed the same price or more expensive?

:stars: Just got my 00 Perles Balls I LOVE LOVE LOVE them on. Insanely glamorously gorgeous. Makes my skin look fabulous. I don't know if I have ever loved any powder on my skin as much as this one!

I tried them on bareskin. Today i tried them over foundation and no tingles or itches. Thank goodness!!:nanas:
