Hair products for short haired guy?

My boyfriend needs help finding something...in terms of a pomade or gel, to keep his hair up (not spikey) ( and not making it dry or flakey like what he uses). He uses i think LA looks but it's S*** in his hair...his hair is short, and dirty blond if that matters. Thanks!!

these might work ( I have 2 brothers with short hair and a bf with the same 'do) : salon selectives control'd substance (if you can find it like at Walgreens or Longs or some other drugstore) Bed Head "Manipulator" and Alterna Hair Concrete. HTH!

Bed Head Stick. It gives hair texture with light hold, and works really well with short hair.

I like Redken's Water Wax Shine Pompade. It's pretty much lightweight and it's good for adding some texture and making pieces stay in place.
