Please give me suggestions for makeup that would go with a PIRATE costume.

Eye liner, just really play up your eyes, and make them POP. Keep the lips neutral, and maybe matted... Focus on your eyes.

You could do a bunch of black eyeliner /and/ red lips. Or red lips and smoky bronze eyes. I think of pirates as really flamboyant, so heavy makeup seems appropriate to me. But if your costume is revealing you might want to go with may-cup's suggestion. Just make sure whatever you do doesn't look too done; it should be a little bit messy.

Whenever I think pirate I imagine johnny depp in POTC haha, I'd go with a smokey/s,udgy eyes with clear glossy lips and you could draw on a vertical zigzaggy scar across you cheek.
