Hi all! I've been a lurking around for a month or so now, looking at all of the gorgeous FOTD, as well as reading up on the tutorials and basically everything on this site. I love love love this site, and I love seeing the beautiful art all of you create everyday. Anyhow, I had my make up done at the NARS counter yesterday, so I'd thought I'd share my look, and also try to recreate the look with colors I already have on hand.
Holly, the counter manager at NARS in my local Nordstroms, first applied their oil-free foundation in Santa Fe (which I was originally buying before she did the make over). She then added bronzer all over my face, and then dusted my cheeks lightly with Luster (blush). She mixed about 3-4 colors together for my eye, and finished by lining it lightly with a gray liner, then touching up on the tips of my lashes (I already had some mascara on). For the lips she used a lipgloss in Orgasm, but I had ate dinner afterwards and just put on Smashbox's drammaticca (sp?) gloss. She also used Albatross to highlight, so here's the result:

Today I used a Lavshuca Eye Color Select in PU-2 (a Kanebo brand that I bought via Adambeauty.com). It has a champagne color, a light metallic bronze color, and 2 shades of purples. I mixed and blended it together to achieve what I think resembles what I had done yesterday. Also since I didn't have a gray eyeliner, I used a brown pencil liner and blended it out a small brush. For my face, I just used Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer in Nude (want to finish using it before I open my NARS foundation), Benefit's Dallas for bronzer, and NARS Orgasm for blush. Finished my lashes with CG's Superthick mascara, and topped the tips with Dejavu Fiberwig. You can't see in the pictures, but in person, my version has a LOT more sparkles.
