I was finally able to get my hands on some of the products today!!!!! The Walmart that had the updated display but no products as of Sunday had most of the products out today, actually, everything but 5 of the Meteor-Eyes and one of the Powder Kegs I think. Anyway, I got the two Meteor-Eyes that were in stock - Supernova (the purple one) and Black Hole (the black one) but I haven't opened them yet. I got the Moon Glow powder. Seriously, for $8 how can you pass that up? I actually like it; I was worried it would come off ashy for me, but it didn't. I do find the sparkle to be a bit more obvious that I would have preferred. I think something a bit more subtle would have made the product fantastic. I'm going to keep playing around with it though. It's worth keeping.
I got 2 Hot Smudge Liners, in Rebel (blue/white iridescent glitter) and Stunt Double (purple/brown-black). I think these, for me anyway, are going to work better as shadow bases/cream shadows than anything else. The color payoff, when used with a synthetic eye shadow brush, is actually pretty decent, but as a liner, I just don't think the brighter colors are going to pop enough. A liquid liner would work better. I am sure the darker shades would be fine for a smokey liner though. I might pick up two more of the cream liner duos if I like how these two perform.
I'm didn't get any Powder Kegs. I want to read some reviews/see swatches first. I also didn't get any of the Take Me Out liners (glitter or regular). I saw a couple of bad youtube reviews on the original ones, and apparently there isn't a lot of actual product, so I'm passing.
Also, does anyone know if Welcome Matte is a setting powder, blotting powder, or both?
