Im wanting to get Veneers, just to make my teeth look straighter. Has anyone got them. what are they like? do they look natural and what did you pay for them?

Hello,
I would recommend braces to get your teeth straight. I have porcelain veneers on my front teeth that were all most 5,000 I believe. They can be very expensive and you have to be very careful with them.
Don't bite into anything hard or chewy or they could come loose
or come out completely.
I have had mine for years got them because when I was a kid I chipped
my two front teeth, kept getting them bonded and I kept messing the bonding up. Eventually just got the veneers, I would really prefer my real teeth though. Sometimes when they put them in they take over half of your real teeth out (grind them down I believe).
hope that was of some help if you have any more questions please let me know

I've heard the best ones to get are Lumineers. They don't grind away your teeth, and can be removed.

I agree with EmbalmerBabe. Braces are a better option. Perhaps try invisalign? I've heard they work well and you also get some sort of teeth whitener for the duration that you have them.

i have the EXACT same story as EmbalmerBabe. I had a chipped front tooth when i was younger, they put bonding onit to make it normal til i was 18 and got veneers.
they grinded my teeth down to stubs, and put the veneers over them. they look good, but i am HIGHLY sensitive to cold drinks, even when the air conditioning is on strong in my car, it HURTS my front teeth. I have gone to the dentist complaingin and he keeps giving me orajel or whatever its called. I cant afford to get them re done, so i am pretty much screwed. also my gums have receded a little bit and you can see the line if you look super close ( i am sure no one else sees it, but it bothers the heck out of me)

i would suggest invisilign or whatever its called WAY before veneers. and veneers only as a last resort. a lot of people i know have sensitivity to cold with their veneers. i have to drink with a straw. ALL THE TIME
