Hi everyone!

I'm a 20 yr old asian girl living in Canada and just bought my first M.A.C purchase last week! I bought "Swimming" eye shadow and it's great! I don't know too much about eye shadow & I don't have double eye-lids so I'm sometimes confused as to how to recreate the looks I see here & on livejournal's mac_cosmetics community. Practice makes perfect though right?

Right now I'm planning start my collection with the Olive Sashette, the teal stash box & swish e/s, aquadiasic e/s & parfait amour e/s...would that be a good start? I'm not even sure if I can blend any of those colours together lol.

For Asian women, using a liquid black eyeliner in a thick line, applied to the top lid, gives the look of an eyelid. You can also try to create a contour with eyeshadow in the area of the crease. This gives more dimension to the eye.
