Ok, I hope this is alright... I did search and browse the forums a bit, but since what I'm asking is rather specific, I think it needs it's own thread. Let me know if this kind of thing is frowned upon or it needs to be somewhere else.
Ok, so I've just gotten into MAC and I'm trying to build a neutral pallette, as I'm going to school to be a teacher and that's the kind of stuff I wear everyday. So far, the list of all of the MAC shadows I own include: naked lunch, shale, mulch, all that glitters, and trax.
Here's my wishlist of colors: blanc type/brule, ricepaper, shroom, satin taupe, bronze/antiqued, honey lust, woodwinked, espresso/handwritten, wedge, and sketch. Those are the colors that I think will give me a variety of looks but are not too over to top for most occassions for me.
I'm planning on buying 7 shadows in pan form and 1 pallette during the sale, and I'm having trouble deciding whether to get blanc type or brule, bronze or antiqued, or espresso or handwritten. Basically, from swatches I've seen, they look similar but different, and I keep going back and forth. Any opinions or insight? I'd go see them in a store, but the closest one is an hour away from me, and I don't think I can get there before the sale.
If it helps, I'm very fair with neutral to slightly yellowish undertones (NC15, probably lighter) with bright blue eyes and light brown hair. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
