Help me please: Are these brushes fake or not?

Hi girls!

My friend just purchased these brushes on Ebay and I think they may be counterfeit.

Can anyone help me identify if these brushes #174 and #136 are fake or not? Please help me.

i can say that the 136 is definitely fake. the 174 looks real, but ive never heard of it. maybe it's DC. you should send a PM to caffn8me and ask for her advice. she's the specktra counterfeit expert!

I honestly don't know. I don't have originals of either of these brushes to compare them with. Sorry!

Having had a look at the 174 in greater detail, I'm inclined to say that one's genuine. It's a Pro brush and you can get a picture of the ferrule crimping here. It's not the best picture to compare with but I'd say it looks as though they are the same.

As for the 136, I can't find a good picture but I agree with queenofdisaster. I think it's unlikely to be genuine as the crimping on the ferrule is almost non existent and the handle has a sparkly finish.
