Help me send money to the US

Ok DON't suggest paypal the other person doesn't have it

I need to send somebody in the US $15 but I'm in the UK and have been told you's cant put out cheques into your banks and cash them is this true? i don't get why we do it over here no problems put different currency cheque in our accounts
If this is true anybody know of any other ways I can send it? dont fancy sending cash even if it is only $15

I have a few ways that we use to successfully recieve cash from our family in the UK. It is true, you can't use UK cheques here, I don't know why but they won't accept them. You can always use an American Express traveller's cheque, or send properly concealed cash via recorded delivery (although I realise the cost is somewhat high for the latter, it's worth it for peace of mind). You can use Western Union, but the fees are fairly high, even for a small amount. I hope this is of some help to you!
