I'm just starting my MAC adventure, so If it were up to you, what are the essential MAC begginner items and colors to have for eye makeup? What colors do you like together?

I'm leaning toward pigments and I LOVE the glitters, so before I go crazy and broke in one month, what do I need to get me started in the eye area? I have green eyes and I'm totally clueless
.

I think, if you want to get started then you need a good basis of neutrals on which you can build more 'fun' looks.
I suggest:

llama e/s (doesnt get enough attention, but is essential for me to help with blending and as a matte highlight when I'm heading to work)
coquette e/s (again, good staple e/s - wear this most days to work)
espresso e/s (excellent crease colour/liner)
carbon e/s (basic black, need I say more?)
woodwinked e/s (neutral but softer finish)
satin taupe e/s (as above)
blacktrack fluidliner (great for tighlining, and for a super intense liner)
the 219, 224, 266, and 187 (these are the brushes I use EVERY day, I even have two 219s and 224s!)

I think with these as a basis you can pretty much add anything to your collection - whatever takes your fancy can pretty much be added and worked in with these
