Sorry if this in the wrong place in the forum. Not certain where to put it.
I really want to get into the makeup industry. To start and hone my skills, I wanted to begin making YouTube videos for tutorials and such. But when I tried to make one, the file from my Canon Camera was in an .MOV file. It could not be converted without downgrading the quality. And to edit a .MOV file... I need a MAC laptop. I only have a regular PC laptop and I am no where near being able to buy an expensive MAC computer right now.
Is there a program I can buy for my ASUS laptop that is compatible with .MOV files? I really can't find anything on google that will tell me what to do outside of "Buy a MAC Computer" to use iMovie. All I have is a laptop with Window Movie Maker.
Is there any program that will help me, because I can't afford to get a new computer right now...
