The color looks right, but the base looks a little on the thick side. I'd ask for pictures of the bottom of the jar to be sure.

I agree - I dont like the base of this jar either. It looks like one of the early fakes in this colour we saw floating about in early 2007. I'd be asking for more pics of the base, back and box as well.

Thanks for the info. The seller seems less than forthcoming, so far at least. I'll report back what I hear, if anything!

Update: This seller answered one question of mine but has not gotten back to me on the picture. Feels shady, especially since the questions were sent via same method and within minutes of each other.
