Help with my foundation!

I'm getting so tired of trying to make my foundation look great all day!
I have normal/dry skin, so before foundation I use Cerave moisturizer. Within a few hours, maybe sooner, of applying my foundation I get really dry flakey looking around my nose, but the top part of my nose it looks like my foundation has 'lifted' off my face and if I touch it, it comes right off on my hand. The rest of my face doesn't do that!

It doesn't matter if I use my nars sheer glow, revlon colorstay, maybelline fit me, loreal true match, mac studio fix fluid....they all do it. I tried using mac prep prime, smashbox photofinish, or no primer at all. Am I the only person who has this problem? Ugh!

Sounds like you might need to exfoiliate your skin?

Sounds like the skin around the nose is quite dry, while the bridge is oily. Mild exfoliation around the nose, and I'd suggest blotting the bridge after the moisturizer has settled in. This will pull away any excess. The primers you mentioned are all high in silicone, which gives slip.. so maybe skip that on the nose too.
