HELP with Rye!

I decided the look I want to do for my grad but I can't buy the catherine quad because we don't have any left and my parents refuse to let me use their visa online. I have everything else but I need a really close substitute for the colour Rye. If you girls can't think of one or def think that its a colour itself please tell me so I can find a way.

Try asking that question on the MAC livechat on www.maccosmetics.com. They are usually pretty helpful with finding substitute colors for LE shades or in your case a particualar shade from a quad. HTH.

the only thing I can think of is Tendermetal from the teal holiday pallet.

Can you ask at a MAC counter if they could help you with your makeup that day, or maybe scrape some Rye off a sample for you?

I just got the quad and Rye is definitely a gold, not a khaki/green like Sumptous olive. They Scarab and Rye are really pretty together. Maybe your counter could have one transferred from another store?

Scarab is more along the lines of Sumpt. Olive while Rye is sort of Elitest.
