How do u make MOTIF work?

I bought motif at cco and it looked so lovely when i swatched it on my hand, and i loved duochrome effect. althought i really cant make it work on my eyelids, its just kind of yellow. what base should i use? and also what colors would u pair with it?

I use Untitled Paint. I usually wear motif with Shadows like Hepcat or Plum dressing.

Pair it with purples! Lovely.

i don't like it much on my lid, but i love it as an inner corner highlight when i'm wearing browns or plums.

when I bought this shadow the mua told me it can be use as a highlight aswell.

You might try soft ochre pp to allow the true color to show, and use the 242 to pack it on evenly. It is a really beautiful color! I hope you can find a use for it!

I use it with Blue Storm pigment, and then do peachy cheeks and lips.

There was also a youtube video recently that used it with Cranberry, among some other brown shadows. It looked really lovely.

it's always done the same thing to me as far as turning a sort of 'yellow' color on my lids too! i usually use it now as a highlight/transition color, or inner highlight.

for my lids, i think the prettier sister out of the two is Pink Bronze pigment! it's goooorgeous!

I think it looks lovely over Penny shadestick with Nocturnelle in the crease.
