How long do you keep your MAC?

do you hang on to your mac items?

i know there are different timetables out there for eyeshadow, lipsticks, etc... i just can't bear to throw anything away ('cept for mascara - saving them for b2m

). so i have some items for a few years now. (i'll do the "sniff test" if need be). just wondering what others do.

Good question! I'm kinda wierd about that too

If the l/s smells or taste wierd, I chuck it too. Mascara I use sooo much that it doesn't get a CHANCE to go bad. But I am wondering about my shadows. It just seems like such a waste! Especially since I only use clean brushes and wipe them clean each time. Just seems like a crime to throw those out so often!
