How soon after a collection is released are fakes sold?

So I was looking at ebay trying to find some stuff from past collections and I was looking at wc_racer and they are selling Rose Romance stuff. How do they get it so quickly? Theres no way it could be fake is there? I was looking at some of the posts and noticed that people have received fake items from them so I just wanted to make sure.

This collection hasn't even been released yet (release date April 23) so I would say that they are probably legit. This person may work for, or have friends who work for, MAC so they get products early. WC-racer also has posts on EBay telling people how to spot fake MAC brushes and other products so I think that they are pretty reputable.

I have seen counterfeits hit the markets within a few weeks of collection launches though so be careful who you buy from on ebay. There is a list of very much trusted sellers if you do a search

I for one wont be paying almost $20US though for an $11 bottle of lacquer
