LOL...

So i took my friend to MAC to get her makeup done. I figure since I'm buying anyways, someone might as well get a makeover while were there. She's the type who never wears makeup, so I think it was more fun for me to see here all done up. Although she really liked the end result. She had these hige wingged out rainbow eyes for a Rave she was going to that evening. Each eye looked like a butterflywing almost, it was really cute. She got so many looks from people as we walked around the mall LOL, it was great.

So she got that, I got this! LOL!!!

Eyeshadow:
Shroom
Mulch
Carbon
Expensive Pink
Swish
Gorgeous Gold
Paradisco
Beauty Marked
Motif

LipGlass:
x2 Viva Glam V (Bought one for my friend for fun, I'm trying to get her into makeup)

I had planned to buy some plushglass, but the ones i wanted they were out of stock.

Paint:
Stilife

Foundation related or loose powders:
Loose Blot Powder in Medium (I've been using the pressed and i really wanted to try the loose)
Studio Finish Concealer: NW20 (Can't run out of this LOL!)
Iradescent Loose Powder: Silver Dusk (love this stuff, had a sample from a friend, had to buy it!)

Brushes:
266
275

Another sucessful haul. This should tide me over till next trip to the counter LOL!

So you like that Silver Dusk loose powder, huh? I'm debating gettin one, too...and I wanted to know how you like to use it. I'm an NW20...not sure what MAC shade you are, but do you think it'd look good on NW 20 skin blu/grn eyes, red hair? LMK, thanks...

Nice haul! Did you take a picture of your friend after the make-over? If so, I would like to see it if you and your friend doesn't mind posting

Oh yeh... I'm NW20 too. I use it in a few diff ways, the silverdusk powder...

A.) I use this in my, "I really dont feel like doing/have time to do my eyemakeup today" looks. Basically just dust it over my lids, liner, mascara, and good to go. It's really sheer if you dont pack it on, but it add just a little sparkle to my eyes on days when eigther i really can't be late (since i'll be late from doing my MU if it doesn't matter LOL).

B.) I use this a lot as a browbone highlight, as well as in some of my smokey eyed looks, i'll pack it on in the inner V of my eyes and lower lid in that corner to really make my eyes pop.

C.) Body sparkle. I love this for when I'm going out. I just grab my 182, dust it up, and go over my collarbones, shoulders, arms, clevage (the little that I have LOL!), etc. If your putting it on thinly and evenly it adds a really nice irradescent shine.

D.) Haven't done it yet, but I saw a look done that used irradescent powder (like silverdusk) to set foundation. Obviously it was a really specialized look, not something you'd wear often. But I could see doing that for party MU or something for a costume party, or like halloween.

Hope that helps.

According to her, she got LOTS of pictures lol. She never wears makeup, so all her friends were going nuts when she showed up looking like that LOL. I'll ask her if any were done on the digital camera, and if she would mind me posting them.

Best part about it was when I spoke to her later that week, she was commenting about how pretty all her friends thought she looked, and how wearing the foundation didn't really bother her like she thought it would!

I'm so gonna get her addicted LOL.
