I just found out that im blind in one eye

yeah

so ok i go to the DMV to exchange my california drivers license for a texas one they give me and eye test my left eye i do perfectly good but then when i close my right eye i literally cant see anything just huge blurs!

since im left handed the left side of me is dominate basically ever since ive been little my left eye has been lazy and not working

but the funny thing is when both of my eyes are open i can see perfectly fine

when they told me i was crying and like ooooo my god hahaha
but im going to get glasses for taking my test on thursday

im getting the cute black rimmed ones!

sometimes when i think about it i get sad for like 2 seconds
but then im like nah!
it doesnt effect my life really so im just happy to have good vision in one eye ... beacuse thats enough!

I have a question. How did you go 16 years without knowing this? Just never closed one eye?

that sucks though. im sure that it wont effect you too much in your day to day life, seeing as how it hasnt so far.

Its not really as simple as i made it sound its not that i cant see out of that one eye its that its sooo blurry i cant make out much
but when both eyes are open i see preety much perfect!

But i only really started noticeing around 2 years ago but never really cared hahaha

And actyally when they told me it i said i wonder if i can get an eye patch!!!!
