My friend, Cristin & I had ourselves an impromptu makeover & photo shoot session yesterday. It was fun for me because since I’ve become more accustomed to MAC makeup & sharpened my technique, I hadn’t yet done anyone else’s makeup other than my own. My girl, Cris has had it rough for awhile…but being MAC attacked brought out a smile I hadn’t seen in awhile & that, my friends, was all the thanks I needed. Enjoy & thanks for lookin’!
I used:
Face
MAC P+P Primer
Clarins True Comfort Foundation in Praline
MAC GlimmerShimmer in Loves Pink
P.F. Shimmer Strips in Vegas Strip
CoverGirl shimmer (I forget the shade name, but it was a sheer silvery white)
LureBeauty Mineral Blush in Apple Taffy
MAC Sheertones Blush in CoyGirl
Eyes
UDPP
Hard Candy Sour Apple E/S
MAC Pigments: Golder’s Green, Teal, Naked, Provence, & Lily White
MAC Steamy & Electric Eel E/S
MAC Turquoise Glitter
MAC Mixing Medium
Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown (applied very lightly)
MAC Fiber Rich Mascara in All Black
Lips
Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme
(I doubt I’ll be allowed to use this on her again. Let’s just say that Cristin found this to be a little…intense! Haha, she was trying to cool down her lips by breathing in a really funny way that sounded like she was in labor. Too funny!)
She saw the turquoise glitter in my collection & was drawn to it. She said it reminded her of a mermaid. So, I took her idea & went nuts with it. So much fun!

Getting that glitter on this straight (even w/ the help of mixing medium) was no easy task. It was tough!

Slightly blurry, but this came out so great!

& Finally...the money shot. This pose was totally her idea. My camera's flash went funny & made this super warm. We're really proud of this one!
