I need help with colors!! =]

Okay so I have a Junior Prom event to go to and my dress is burgundy.. i need some suggestions on what color eyeshadows to use one my eyes. thanx =]

My first pick would be a navy colour combo because it works really well with burgundy but many people don't think of it. So navy with black and silver.

Other colour combos silver/black, gold/brown/black, red/purple/black, green/black.
Mustard would work too but most people can't carry off that colour.

EDIT:

Colours I would shy away from pinks, fuchsias, orange, and anything too bright wouldn't work very well

What color are your eyes? That way we can give you some color recs.

I would do a titanic-esque rose makeup look. The very natural eye look pink blush and then burgandy lipstick.

But if you would like more color we need to know what color eyes you have and what your coloring is like

i'd suggest the same...a classic look like that will definately make you stand out.

some people aren't comfortable with bold lips though, so if that's you then i'd go with a smoky look using mostly neutrals with a little bit of beauty marked e/s to bring it all together, some bronzed and contoured cheeks and some nude lips.
