Black is hard to blend with colors, you did a pretty good job. Personally what I like to do is blend a deeper color to make smokey eye. For example , you could have used femme noir to blend at the outer v of your greens. It's just something I learned from a senior artist that mixing black with colors makes mud, you should use just a deeper shade of whatever color scheme you're using.
