CC: Though I certainly agree that makeup is an art and that it doesn't have to be pretty or safe, this definitely seems...safe. With the big speech at the beginning I was expecting something a bit more avant-garde. I hate to sound like a reality show judge, but it definitely feels safer than I expected.

My speech was about not looking for flattering. My mind can be "safe" in your perception. It was pretty risky for me to show it here, to begin with.

Our understanding of "safe" is different.

As for avant-garde, I never mentioned that. I wasn't mentioning those guys in that way, but in the working with their fantansies. That's my simple way to work with mine.
