Ikea Anordna trays in BLACK Project!!!

I wanted to purchase these trays forever and when I finally went to get them, they discontinued to make them in black???!!!

At first I was really pooped, but decided to get them anyways.

So I brought them home, they looked just an ok in my vanity area. But I saw them in black before (on specktra too) and I wanted mine to be black too.
I checked online which spray paints I can use for plastic.

Found out that Krylon Fusion will work, went to walmart and purchased it in Gloss Black.

And after couple of days that I spent in my garage, I finally got what I wanted.

Krylon have so many cool colors like lilac, yellow, blue, green etc. if anyone wants to pain they trays or something else.

The cream ones just reminded me of a hospital trays, so I had to have black ones one way or another

Did you have to prep the trays before you sprayed them black? By prep I mean sand or rub with some sort of liquid to strip it of its original glossy finish?

^ Nope, I did not do any prep at all. But I did paint them right away when I unpacked them from they original packaging.
