the mineralize skinfinish in light has sold out on mac's uk website - i was finally gonna buy it tonight after days and days of umming and arring over whether to get it or not...

edit: just thought, how different is the medium shade compared to light?

I'm sorry to hear you "just" missed getting it! That sucks when that happens. However, I think you'd be able to get away with the medium shade. It's not really all that much darker than the light. Just use a light hand when applying it. I also think they made these skinfinishes very sheer and buildable, so if desired, you could build up the color, or in your case, you could get away with going medium. I hope that helped you out a bit in making your final decision!
