i just got the MAC newsletter today (9th of august) regarding the A MUSE collection in the UK. that's a bit late, considering that the official release date was the 3rd of august- and that lots of stores received it even earlier than that.

all the interesting items from A MUSE are sold out on the website and in lots of the stores/counters. it would've been a shame for me to get all excited today about the A MUSE collection after receiving the newsletter, and then realize that everything i want is sold out.

why doesn't MAC send out newsletters before a collection comes out? Or is this problem only apparent in the UK?

I got that newsletter too! Seems a bit pointless to be honest. Its almost a week after the official release date and it was released early in stores and counters anyway!!!
