Is this a fake brush?

MAC 263 I was just looking at my other brushes & noticed where it says France I can really see it unlike my other brushes
I swapped for it
I put nailpolish on the writing

that looks like an older style brush and I am not totally familiar with them.. i'll leave this one for someone else to answer!

..Looks authentic to me

All of my small handled brushes that has the france imprint are really visible, exactly like the picture. Verses my thicker handled face brushes that say france arent as visible.

To be honest, without having a genuine 263 to compare yours with I really wouldn't like to say definitely. I think it looks genuine and the 263 is a brush that I haven't seen extensively counterfeited (unlike many others). Perhaps someone who has a known genuine 263 will be able to do a proper comparison.
